About us
- North West Kjipuktuk is a Scouts Canada Group formed when two established groups, the 26th Halifax and 22nd Halifax, merged. We are a large, dynamic group based in North-End Halifax.
- We have enjoyed a long rich history in the Halifax area, with more than 70 years of offering fun, stellar programming to youth Ages 5-17.
- Our group is committed to ensuring each and every member feels safe, supportive and included.
Our programs
Our programming and approach to delivering it follows Scouts Canada’s Canadian Path program. Our group is run by a dedicated team of trained volunteers who donate many hours of their time each year to provide youth with the opportunity to grow, challenge themselves and experience countless new experiences.

Registration for our exciting programs is open and ongoing! Our registration year runs from January 1st-December 31st but you can register as early as the fall and start immediately if space permits.
Funding assistance is available
The No One Left Behind program supports families needing finanacial assistance so that all youth can benefit from the values, skills and experiences offered through Scouting.
Additionally, our group also offers additional financial assistance. Please reach out if you wish to utilize additional financial resources above and beyond the No One Left Behind program.
